A blast from the past showcasing the glamour of the 1970s era

Magnum is proud to sponsor Sungei Wang Lantern Fun Park again this year!. This celebration has numerous events that will be carried out at Sungei Wang Plaza in conjunction with Mid-Autumn Festival starting from now to 4th Oct 2017(Wednesday)

Sungei Wang Plaza Lantern Carnival Main Highlights

This Mid-Autumn, Sungei Wang reminisces the BB Park glamour era by transforming the mall back to 1970s.The story of this place and era will be told via the Sungei Wang Lantern Fun Park Mid-Autumn Musical happening on the 16, 17, 22 and 23 September 2017. A series of interactive decorations such as the retro stage, rickshaw, 70s street setting with seating can be found around the Centre Court for shoppers to take photos.

Sungei Wang Lantern Parade 30 September 2017

Step into the third year since it started, Sungei Wang Lantern Parade will be happening on 30 September 2017 and will graced with the artistes appearance of Miu Chu, popular singer from Taiwan, Mad August, local renown band & Ruby Yap, the new and upcoming singer from Malaysia. The official radio, 988 will have six of their radio announcers coming to join us in the parade as well. Do not miss a chance to walk the parade with Sam, Jason, Cheryl, Danny, Cassey Soo and Mike where they will be having hosting some games with their fans as well. To add on to the festive carnival celebration, over a hundred lion dance troupes to join in the parade circulating Bukit Bintang.

To spread more of the festival cheer, 500 lanterns will be given away before and during the parade commences to the public who joins for this meaningful parade. The Lantern Parade will be accompanied by Lion and Dragon Dance Performances circling the Bukit Bintang area throughout the entire parade. Public as well as tourists are welcomed to join in the parade to experience the only Lantern Parade held at Bukit Bintang.
